Originals, never prints
Every painting here is an original, made by hand in Aruba and existing exactly once. You can buy a finished piece or commission one for a specific wall, and you deal with the person who painted it.

Work you can own
Acrylic and mixed media on panel, canvas and paper. Some are figures, some are cities, some are pure colour and mark. All of them are one-offs.

Cities, taken apart
Architecture broken into blocks, windows and signage, then rebuilt as rhythm rather than as a view. A recurring subject across the last few years of work.

Figures, held by colour
The people come first, the colour field decides how you read them. Painted large so the figures meet you at something close to real scale.

Line work, framed and ready
Ink and marker pieces that hang as they are. The smallest way into the work, and the easiest to fit into a room you have already furnished.

Colour blocks on canvas
Flat fields with one drawn figure walking through them. Painted on a deep canvas so it stands off the wall without a frame.

Symbols and lettering
Invented alphabets and marks arranged like a page. Closer to writing than to picture-making, and the pieces people tend to read for longest.

Buying and commissioning
Where can I buy original local art in Aruba?
Directly from my studio. Every painting on this site is an original hand-painted work, not a print, and can be bought or commissioned by message on WhatsApp or Instagram.
Are these prints or originals?
Originals. Each piece exists once, is painted by hand, and is signed. Nothing on this page is a reproduction or an edition.
Can I commission a painting for a specific wall?
Yes. Send the dimensions, a photograph of the room and the feeling you are after. Commissions follow the same route as murals: a proposal first, painting after you approve it.
How much does an original cost?
It depends on size, materials and whether it is an existing piece or a commission. Ask about a specific work and you get a straight figure.
Do you ship outside Aruba?
Smaller works and works on paper travel well. Ask about a specific piece and I will tell you honestly what shipping it involves.
Can I see the work in person first?
Yes, and I would prefer it. These paintings have surface and texture that a photograph flattens.
