I design and build websites for Aruba businesses through Cora Studio. The illustration, the artwork and the look are made here rather than bought from a stock library, which is why the sites do not look like everybody else's.
What goes into a site
Made here, not licensed
Most small business sites are a template plus stock photography. These are the things I can put on a page that a template cannot: original illustration, real pattern work, and artwork drawn for that specific brand.

Illustration made for the brand
When a page needs an image and no photograph exists, I draw one. It costs less than a shoot, it is yours alone, and it can be redrawn in your colours.

Pattern and texture
Backgrounds, section dividers and packaging patterns drawn by hand. This is what stops a site from looking like the same five templates every other local business is using.

A look that carries off the screen
The same artwork works on a website, a menu, a wall and a shirt. That is the advantage of hiring the person who paints as well as designs.

Do you design websites in Aruba?

Can you work with a site I already have?
Often, yes. Send the link and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth improving or worth rebuilding, and why.
How long does a site take?
It depends on how many pages and how much of the artwork is made from scratch. You get a timeline in writing before anything starts.
Can you also paint a mural for the same business?
Yes, and that is usually the strongest result: the wall, the signage, the illustration and the website all drawn by one hand.
